Chapter 46: Exposing The Scam

Alright, it’s around the end of the month. Just for this month, I will reveal the stats of this WordPress for this month, cause I’m kind of proud of it. It might not compare much to other more WordPress with ‘mature series’ but well, here we go

166 Posts
600 000+ Page Views
65 000 Visitors
Average of 9.32 Views per Visitor
913 Likes

Given that all of the series that are still ongoing on this web just started in December, I’m quite proud of this result so 2 chapters for today 😀
Well, probably means nothing much since I just did 2 chapters a day for a week, but at least it is better than nothing uh.

Anyway, a little late but

Happy Chinese New Year~
Hope you all have a great year ahead!

You could easely end the reddit speculation with a 404 plugin. It is an essential website feature.
Take a look at some of those here: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/resources/the-7-best-404-plugins-for-wordpress

If I’m not wrong, that’s for wordpress.org. As far as I know, wordpress.com doesn’t allow people to slot in plugins, at least for my plan uh >:
Wordpress.org requires some knowledge on web building and is more troublesome to govern. You get more control over your web, but in exchange you have to prop it up yourself. Currently still very far from that level, so still stuck with wordpress.com

Yes. You are completely right. My fault for not even taking a look at the address bar 😦

As for wordpress.com, form what i just browsed, the only way (outside changing the plan) would be if some of the theme has the functionality to customize the 404 message at least.
But it doesn’t feel as a realistic solution.
Probably better to continue as you have being. Or if things get too unreasonable, you can always put a notice in the side bar, making it appears on every pages; gaining visibility to your position.
